Very disappointing!!
I was really looking forward to receiving this, as it was originally missed off my order. I was surprised at the greasy Vaseline look and texture. It feels horrible to the touch and on my lips, I feel like throwing it away, but due to the price won’t. Only good thing is, it nourishes my lips for 24 hrs. However the grossness of the feel and texture out ways this one positive. Very very disappointed!

Overpriced lip balm
Having the usual dry lips over the winter I wanted to invest in a good lip balm so I bought this one, 2 weeks into using it everyday throughout the day, probably 8 -10 times a day and nothing, it’s just feels really greasy like Vaseline and makes no difference to my lips, I’ll have to result to using good facial cream. Shame, was really hopeful.

I submitted a review about the lip balm back in August commenting on its grittiness, something I had already experienced in the past. Since then, I’ve started using one of the newly branded ones and feel it’s only right to let you know it’s perfect. No grittiness, just the right consistency and good flavour. It’s really long lasting. It’s very much back on track. I’ll be happy to buy it as a gift as well as for myself.

Inconsistent
I’ve been using Espa products for many years and just love them and often recommend them to others. But I have an ongoing issue with the lip balm. It is inconsistent. What I mean by this is that the texture is different with every one. The one I have at the moment is very gritty. Others have been both soft and gloopy or very solid. I still use the product because despite this it is a very good lip balm. It stays in place for ages and isn’t greasy. I would just prefer it to not be gritty!
