Rich botanical lipids nourish the skin while Valerian’s properties are carefully balanced with calming Chamomile, Hops and Ashwaganda, a revered Ayurvedic plant that’s renowned for its relaxing properties. The formula also features Swiss Stone Pine, an alpine tree with incredible soothing properties that have made its timber popular in bedrooms because the oils in the wood are said to encourage a better quality of rest. Disappointing
I was really looking forward to using this body cream after my bath before bedtime. I was expecting a gorgeous relaxing fragrance as with other ESPA products but unfortunately this was a complete disappointment. The fragrance was barely there in fact it smelt rather musty. The cream is very nice on my skin but the smell was not what I was expecting from ESPA.

Lovely bedtime ritual
Having never used ESPA Products before I wasn’t sure what to expect. I decided to use this as a body cream just before going to sleep. As someone on long term chemotherapy I suffer from dry and flaky skin as a side effect of chemo. I’ve used medicated creams with no real benefit but within two days of using this cream my carers and nurses all commented on how much better my legs and arms were looking. The cream absorbs quickly with no sticky residue allowing me to use my smartphone and tablet devices immediately after using the cream with no smears or marks on the screens. The scent is very subtle and just right for bedtime as a strong scent would be overpowering and make sleeping difficult. My skin seems to have much more moisture after using this cream each evening, I am very impressed that this cream was more effective than prescribed creams

Read the other reviews, and appreciate .. I’m a massive fan of ESPA .. been using for years, and have regular Spa treatments .. however, this does very little for me! It is smooth and absorbent to apply, however, there is very little scent to it, and overall I simply feel I’m applying an expensive body lotion and little benefit beyond moisturising! I bought two tubs .. so let’s see how the second one goes!

I love ESPA products but I was honestly not expecting this to be such a great purchase...I use it as a body cream after a bath or hot shower and it's simply divine, feel like it helps me sleep better too!
