Located over three floors with indoor and outdoor spaces, extensive thermal experiences and beautifully appointed treatment, relaxation, wellness and grooming zones the Spa will re-set the bar for Wellness destinations in Dubai.

Responsible for all aspects of the Spa Operation, supporting the Spa & Wellness Director with driving key elements such as marketing and promotions, operating criteria, programming, budgeting, VIP guest visits, staff relations and training.

The ESPALife Spa & Wellness Manager will play a key role in the Spa’s vision of success and exceeding guest expectations. The daily operation will fall to this motivated and capable team player. Key responsibilities will include -

• Operations – overseeing daily operation including but not limited to, facility function, guest relations, staff management and welfare, financial reporting, stock control and standard operating procedures

• Standards – maintaining both service and facility standards throughout the operation

• Training – identifying and managing training needs, PDP’s and growth of Spa team to develop and maintain a highly motivated team. Managing and delivering induction programmes for new starters

• Financial - monitor spa performance through reviewing and reporting on KPI’s and directing initiatives to drive sales.

• Marketing – supporting the Marketing initiatives, PR activity and events to drive success of the Spa

• Wellness – liaising with external visiting practitioners and the ESPALife wellness team to ensure a seamless guest experience

Skills should include –

• Previous experience within a management role in a luxury five-star spa environment

• Ability to understand and analyse financial performance

• Previous experience in developing marketing strategy

• Understanding and experience of the operational requirements of a 5-star Spa & Wellness environment

The Spa & Wellness Director position requires a dynamic individual with drive and vision to lead, guide and develop the ESPALife team and co-ordinate with the Corinthia Hotel team. Responsible for all aspects of Spa Operations, skills to include –

• Financial acumen – forecasting, developing and reporting on budget and financial performance

• Marketing and PR - ability to strategize, develop and drive marketing initiatives, representing ESPALife in PR and sales initiatives. Liaise closely with the Hotel Sales & Marketing team to co-ordinate all activity and seamlessly integrate ESPALife and the Hotel plan into ongoing internal and external representation

• Passion for People – desire to lead, develop and grow your team, supporting with recruitment, training and succession plans to build a strong, outstanding team. Maintaining team cohesion will be key in delivering a true Wellness environment and journey for our guests. Excellent communication skills, impeccable personal presentation and ability to relate to all cultures imperative.

• Operational experience – at Director level in a 5 star environment with a focus on exceptional guest care and standards

• Wellness experience – knowledge, skill and a dedication to delivering an unparallel Wellness experience for our guests is necessary to embrace this position and forge new ground with ESPALife at Corinthia Dubai.
