Where does Yucca come from?

One of our star ingredients, Yucca is a concentrated natural extract from the roots of the Mohave Yucca Plant (Yucca Schidigera).

Native to the deserts of Baja California and Sonora Mexico, it’s rich in the naturally occurring chemical compound Saponins, which produces the plants renowned foaming agent.

Used to cleanse, stimulate hair growth and heal minor wounds. Emerging studies also suggest powerful anti-oxidant properties, making it a natural ESPA choice.

Used in our Balancing Foam Cleanser, the Yucca Extract mixes with water to produce a rich, dense, cleansing foam naturally, rather than using additional synthetic ingredients.

Calming, soothing and strengthening the skin – it’s great for oily combination types.
